Westminster Mall Haul

So, when I got my Seventeen magazine in the mail, there was an ad for a free v-neck tee from Aeropostle! When I went to the store they automatically pointed me in the direction of the free v-necks. The colors that they had were navy blue, pink, white, light blue, tye-die warm colors, tye-die cool colors, and a couple others. I, of course, picked pink! The material is a little thin and see-thru. You would need to wear a tank top under. Originally it's around $18 so, it's great to get it for free!

We went to Wetseal and got this grey racerback top. It has a purple and metallic silver flower design on it. It's super cute for spring! Tuck it into a skirt or wear it with a pair of jeans. This top was around $14.

There was a new store in the mall, I don't remember the name but it was like Tokyo something. Anyways they have all this stuff inside that you would find in Japan and I came across this Hello Kitty Backpack(LOVE). They have the same ones at Hot Topic for around $25 and I bought this one for around $15! The one at Hot Topic kept eying me but, I didn't want to spend the money on it because there is barely any storage space inside to fit ANYTHING! So, when I saw it in this store for cheaper I had to get it! Since I have a pass to Disneyland, I like to just carry like a water bottle, some money, my pass, and a little snack. So this is perfect!

This lotion is my all time favorite lotion! It is SO moisturizing! It has Monoi oil in it, which makes it so moisturizing and it lasts! I love it. But to top it all off, it smells amazing! It is so heavenly! Everytime I wear it I get complimented on the smell. If you are into that island smell (coconut and tiare flowers) then this is for you! for this 2 fl oz. bottle it was $6. But, you can get a large one for $15. I like the small one to carry in my purse.

So, I went into Victoria's Secret and saw this airbrush instant bronzer. As much as I love laying out, I know that it is REALLY bad for me! So, I'm trying to step back a little from it. I thought this would be great to tryout. I'll do a review soon! You can find this at Victoria's Secret for $12.

So, I picked up these cute flower flats for about $16 at a store called Steppin' Out in the mall. The store has such a wide selection of shoes, sandals, boots, and heels. I thought that they were so perfect for spring! Pair these flats with a cute skirt and a flowery cardigan! I love spring style!

Spring flowers makeup tutorial

So, for this look we'll be using the Coastal scents 88 shimmer palette and M.A.C's Beautiful Iris! You can buy the 88 shimmer palette at CoastalScents.com for about $20 which is a great deal! You can find Beautiful Iris at your local M.A.C counter or @ maccosmetics.com for $14.50. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial! Leave your feedback!

First, you're gonna apply a medium pink to the whole lid of the eye. We used the top color on the fourth from the last column in the Ultra shimmer Palette from Coastal scents. To apply this you're going to want to use a basic eyeshadow brush such as a 239 from M.A.C.

Next, use a pastel purple for the outer corner into the crease. We used Beautiful Iris by M.A.C. You want to use a fluffy blending brush to achieve this look. Try M.A.C's 224 or 226.

Next, you're going to apply the pastel purple to the outer bottom lash line and a lighter pink to the inner tear duct and into the purple. For the pink we used the 2nd row 5th column pink from the Coastal Scents. You want to use a flat angled eyeliner brush such as M.A.C's 266.

To finish up the look, apply a liquid liner and add mascara. Hope you guys enjoyed this look! If you have any request comment below and leave feedback!

Haul!!

So, this eyeshadow mini palette is from Benefit Cosmetics. The colors are highly pigmented and they are all shimmers. It's small enough to keep in your purse for touch ups throughout the day! It was about $10 and you can pick this up from Macy's or Benefitcosmetics.com!

I got this Sally Hanson nail polish in Brisk Blue. You can pick this up at your local drugstore. I'm always in a hurry when I paint my nails so, I love that this drys in like 60 seconds! Also, when I saw the blue it caught my eye! It's such a pretty color for spring and summer. I'm kind of upset I didn't pick up some more! This nail polish would look so cute as a pop of color in a neutral colored outfit! I love it!

So, I bought Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Waiki strip. This has got to be one of my favorite bronzers EVER! I have been throught 3-4 of these! i've been using this as my blush for years! I can't even express in words how much I love this stuff! It is so shimmery and it makes you look like you spent the day in the sun and achieved an amazing tan! It makes your cheek bones stand out like crazy and everytime I wear it I get complimented! You can pick this up at your local drugstore for around $14. It also comes in a few other shades.

I went to M.A.C because I needed to find an eye shadow to match a dress I bought for a party. So, I came out with Beautiful Iris! It's so pretty! It's a Veluxe pearl and it's a sheen lavender. I love the color purple and this shadow definitely caught my eye! Especially for brown eyed girls! But, this color would look great on everyone! In the picture below it looks kind of like a periwinkle blue...but it is definitely purple!

Here are a few other things I picked up and they were all around $5. First, is a lipstick from REVLON. It's a shimmery pink, a great color for spring! I got Great Lash clear mascara which you can pick it up from your local drugstore. I also got a glazewear lip gloss from avon and you can get it from avon.com.

Mac Pigment Samples

So I heard about this website called the beauty sampler and basically they sell LEGIT MAC pigment samples, MAC glitter samples etc. They are 1/4 of a tsp. and they come in little plastic containers with the name of the pigment on the bottom. The MAC pigment samples are $2.49 each so, I picked out Grape, Pink Pearl, Shimmertime, and Museum Bronze. Here are some swatches and more pics...

So, the first is Grape and as much as I love the color purple it's not my favorite. It is definitely a great color but it's not something i would wear everyday and that's the only reason it's not my favorite. The next is Pink Pearl and this pigment is really great for those girly girls out there. It actually shimmers blue-ish which is really different but I love it. Next is Shimmertime (One of my favorites) and it's a great highlight. Highlights are put on the brow bone and inner tear ducts of the eye. It makes your eyes POP and gives that little twinkle in your eye. Now, for Museum Bronze I wasn't really THAT excited. I wanted a brown because that's like the ultimate neutral color that I can wear often and looking at the color in the container made it look really gross. But, once I sampled it I was so pleased with the outcome of it! I loved it! It really is an amazing pigment and i'm so happy i got it!
