Spring flowers makeup tutorial

So, for this look we'll be using the Coastal scents 88 shimmer palette and M.A.C's Beautiful Iris! You can buy the 88 shimmer palette at CoastalScents.com for about $20 which is a great deal! You can find Beautiful Iris at your local M.A.C counter or @ maccosmetics.com for $14.50. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial! Leave your feedback!

First, you're gonna apply a medium pink to the whole lid of the eye. We used the top color on the fourth from the last column in the Ultra shimmer Palette from Coastal scents. To apply this you're going to want to use a basic eyeshadow brush such as a 239 from M.A.C.

Next, use a pastel purple for the outer corner into the crease. We used Beautiful Iris by M.A.C. You want to use a fluffy blending brush to achieve this look. Try M.A.C's 224 or 226.

Next, you're going to apply the pastel purple to the outer bottom lash line and a lighter pink to the inner tear duct and into the purple. For the pink we used the 2nd row 5th column pink from the Coastal Scents. You want to use a flat angled eyeliner brush such as M.A.C's 266.

To finish up the look, apply a liquid liner and add mascara. Hope you guys enjoyed this look! If you have any request comment below and leave feedback!

Haul!!

So, this eyeshadow mini palette is from Benefit Cosmetics. The colors are highly pigmented and they are all shimmers. It's small enough to keep in your purse for touch ups throughout the day! It was about $10 and you can pick this up from Macy's or Benefitcosmetics.com!

I got this Sally Hanson nail polish in Brisk Blue. You can pick this up at your local drugstore. I'm always in a hurry when I paint my nails so, I love that this drys in like 60 seconds! Also, when I saw the blue it caught my eye! It's such a pretty color for spring and summer. I'm kind of upset I didn't pick up some more! This nail polish would look so cute as a pop of color in a neutral colored outfit! I love it!

So, I bought Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips in Waiki strip. This has got to be one of my favorite bronzers EVER! I have been throught 3-4 of these! i've been using this as my blush for years! I can't even express in words how much I love this stuff! It is so shimmery and it makes you look like you spent the day in the sun and achieved an amazing tan! It makes your cheek bones stand out like crazy and everytime I wear it I get complimented! You can pick this up at your local drugstore for around $14. It also comes in a few other shades.

I went to M.A.C because I needed to find an eye shadow to match a dress I bought for a party. So, I came out with Beautiful Iris! It's so pretty! It's a Veluxe pearl and it's a sheen lavender. I love the color purple and this shadow definitely caught my eye! Especially for brown eyed girls! But, this color would look great on everyone! In the picture below it looks kind of like a periwinkle blue...but it is definitely purple!

Here are a few other things I picked up and they were all around $5. First, is a lipstick from REVLON. It's a shimmery pink, a great color for spring! I got Great Lash clear mascara which you can pick it up from your local drugstore. I also got a glazewear lip gloss from avon and you can get it from avon.com.

Mac Pigment Samples

So I heard about this website called the beauty sampler and basically they sell LEGIT MAC pigment samples, MAC glitter samples etc. They are 1/4 of a tsp. and they come in little plastic containers with the name of the pigment on the bottom. The MAC pigment samples are $2.49 each so, I picked out Grape, Pink Pearl, Shimmertime, and Museum Bronze. Here are some swatches and more pics...

So, the first is Grape and as much as I love the color purple it's not my favorite. It is definitely a great color but it's not something i would wear everyday and that's the only reason it's not my favorite. The next is Pink Pearl and this pigment is really great for those girly girls out there. It actually shimmers blue-ish which is really different but I love it. Next is Shimmertime (One of my favorites) and it's a great highlight. Highlights are put on the brow bone and inner tear ducts of the eye. It makes your eyes POP and gives that little twinkle in your eye. Now, for Museum Bronze I wasn't really THAT excited. I wanted a brown because that's like the ultimate neutral color that I can wear often and looking at the color in the container made it look really gross. But, once I sampled it I was so pleased with the outcome of it! I loved it! It really is an amazing pigment and i'm so happy i got it!
