Lush Soap Review

I'm off to Vegas for a dance competition till Monday, so I wanted to leave you with a post before I left. This review will be on the soaps from lush! So, as much in love I am with lush, the soap's are the one thing that don't work for me. They always smell super amazing which is a total plus! I've tried God mother, Ice Blue, and Rockstar. They always leave my skin smelling yummy! Even after toweling off! But, all three soaps left my skin feeling super dry! I don't have dry skin either. I have normal to combination skin and I have never had soap dry me out before. So, I was really disappointed! The next is the price! I love how it leaves my skin smelling but I do not want to pay $13 for a piece of soap! So If anybody has any recommendation on a soap that smells good and is more moisturizing then Ice Blue, God mother, and Rockstar PLEASE let me know!

**Here's a tip!! Go to your local lush and tell them that you just want a small sliver of the soap of your choice because you dont want to spend the money on it if its going to dry your skin out. If your lucky and have a nice sales person there, they will let you have a sample! They usually don't give out samples of soap for whatever reason.

Hope this works out for you guys! Let me know if you know of a moisturizing soap from lush! i will definitely try it out! Next trip I'm gonna sample Honey I Washed The Kids, Porridge, and Demon in The Dark..

GODMOTHER

ROCKSTAR

ICEBLUE

DEMON IN THE DARK

Lush haul!

So first off, this is Coal Face! I actually bought this for my boyfriend because he has a greasy face.(Especially his T zone) So I'm going to do a quick little review on it. His face over all has definitely cleared up. The only part of his face that still is a little greasy is his nose. The sales lady suggested to apply moisturizer after washing your face with coal face because it will really dry out your skin. So this is generally for people with REALLY oily skin. I've read a lot of reviews saying that it stains your bath or sink because there is actual coal inside but i don't notice any staining. It is a light shade of grey that comes out but it washes away easy.

This is Ice Blue soap. I will be doing a review on all the soap I have tried from lush. So keep an eye out fot it!

This is ROCKSTAR soap! STAY TUNED for the review!

Next is the Space Girl Bath Bomb. This is one of their newest bath bombs! It's smaller than the regular bath bombs but a little bigger than the small bath bombs. The description on the website is "Shaped like Saturn with added space dust (aka glitter) and the refreshing scent of blackcurrant sweeties to make an intergalactic experience that can only be found in the tub" This one smells fresh. It's a soft smell, with blackberries, and possibly a little lavender. It has glitter on it and inside and you can actually see the sparkles in the tub! This one was around $5 and I really like the smell but it's not one of my faves. I still recommend trying this one!

Last, But definitely NOT least! I got the comforter Bubble bar! This thing is huge! I have cut it into 4 pieces! THAT'S 4 BATHS! This costs around $10. The smell is just AMAZING! On the website it is described as "pink and white swirly bar resembles a rolled up scarf, ready to wrap you in warmth and comfort. The fruity blackcurrant fragrance comes from cassis absolute" It definitely smells fruity. I get a little hint of blackberry in it. Definitely worth the $10! I WILL re buy!

Hope you guys enjoyed this haul! Leave a comment if you guys want us to try anything out before you buy it at lush or any other store!

Coral breeze Makeup tutorial

So, today's look is inspired by SUMMER! This is a look that is fresh for a day at the beach, pool party, or BBQ! We wanted it to be shimmery since you'll be out in the sun! But we kept it soft without harsh eyeliner...and clear mascara.(You don't want your eyes running!) We used the following brands for this look: Coastal scents 88 shimmer palette, MAC's Shimmertime pigment, E.L.F's eyeshadow primer, Maybelline great lash clear mascara, N.Y.C lipshine in Iced Orchid.

You're going to start the look of with some eye primer. We used E.L.F's eyeshadow primer.

Next, your gonna take a shimmery coral color and place it on the eyelid. We used a color from the coastal scents 88 shimmer palette.

Next, place a medium brown shade to the outer V and crease of the out. Almost as if you are outlining the eyelid. We again used the Coastal Scents 88 shimmer palette.

Now, highlight the brow bone and under your bottom lash line with a light white-coral shade. We used MAC's Shimmertime pigment. Curl your lashes and apply clear mascara. We used Maybellines Great Lash Clear mascara!

We added a bright pink lip for a fun in the sun, summer feel. This color is Iced Orchid by N.Y.C.

Hope you guys liked this look! Leave a your feedback in a comment! Also, if you have any request, we would love to hear them!
